DC Learn: Learning and Engagement

Learning and engagement is at the heart of Devonshire Collective. DC Learn is our programme of free, inclusive, artist-led activities for the local community. Below are some of the ways you can get involved:
Primary Art Leaders (PAL) network
Open to all primary art teachers in Eastbourne: a termly hands-on creative making session, inspired by our current exhibitions.
To learn more, contact Gina Leonard, DC Learn Coordinator at dclearn@devonshirecollective.co.uk
Sticky Fingers
A free weekly sensory play session for 0-4s and their parents. Held every Wednesday 9.30-11am during term time, at St Augustine's Hall, Christ Church, Seaside (entrance via Hanover Road). Visit the Courses link at the bottom of this page to book your place.
Free family and community drop-in workshops
Inspired by our current exhibition programme, we run a number of free workshops at our gallery VOLT, 67 Seaside Road.
Care for the Carers
In partnership with Care for the Carers, we run a free monthly creative workshop for the unpaid carer community in Eastbourne.
Arts Award
We have recently become an Arts Award Centre supported by Trinity College, London. We are running Arts Award courses for young people in both termly and one day workshops during school holidays. We are also providing courses for the Home Educating community in Eastbourne and the wider area.
